KAUNAS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

The international conference “Life Sciences Baltics 2012”, taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania on Sptember 12-14 is the largest forum on life sciences in the Baltic States. Conference programme includes leading science and business experts from Israel, USA, Singapore, Australia, Norway, Netherlands and other European countries.

“Life Sciences Baltics 2012” will include 3 consecutive days of International Conference and Seminars hosted by the widely recognized life sciences experts; Exhibition of the Baltic companies representing biotechnology sector; individually pre-scheduled FP7 and B2B meetings; site visits to the local companies and R&D centres; start-ups programme, students’ conference organized by Vilnius University, as well as attractive social programme with plenty networking opportunities.

KTU presents innovative prototypes

During the conference KTU will present its scientific potential and technological achievements in biomedical engineering, ultrasound, microsystems and nanotechnology. Among KTU created prototypes: autonomous wheelchair RoboSofa, physiological parameters monitoring system CardioLogger and other.

On Septemer 14 foreign guests of the conference will pay a visit to Kaunas University of Technology where they will be introduced with University scientists’ achievements in biomedical field and modern infrastructure, and will discuss further cooperation.
