Kaunas University of Technology has many cooperation links with foreign universities, research institutes and companies. The cooperation is based on bilateral agreements, various projects, carried out by departments or research groups in the frame of international programmes, exchange of students, lectures and researchers, as well as participation in international conferences, symposiums abroad and at the University.
KTU is a member of several international organizations. The faculties and departments have many links with different related institutions.
Kaunas University of Technology has been a Signatory to the Magna Charta of European Universities.
The University have been signed over 70 bilateral cooperation agreements. A great number of projects on bilateral cooperation basis have been carried out by different faculties, departments, and other academic divisions of the university.
International research and educational cooperation and activities are mainly related to participation in European Community programmes, particularly Framework, EUREKA, COST, Life Long Learning etc.
