The Centre was founded in 1991. Over 90 lecturers work in the Centre: 19 of them are professors, 49 are associate professors, 22 lecturers and doctoral students, and each year 5 lecturers from abroad work at the Centre.

The International Studies Centre presents technical studies in English, French, German, and Russian. The Centre performs and supervises specialisation studies of Micro-system Engineering of the programme of Mechatronics in English.
