The Faculty of Radio Electronics was founded in 1964. It was reorganized into the Faculty of Telecommunications and Electronics in 1996. Full-time academic and research staff of 83 employees, including 49 scientists (8 doctors habilitatus and 41 doctors), work at the Faculty. 1250 students, including almost 200 master students, study at the Faculty.
